I would like to see the process currently used for aging complaints revisited. Example of problem: If a consumer files a complaint on Friday evening, most business will not see that complaint until Monday morning. By that time, the complaint in your system is 3 days old. If a holiday falls on a Monday, the complaint is 4 days old by the time most business will see it. The average numbers of days for a company to respond becomes public information on your website. I would like to see the complaint system be set up s...

It appears that your site was created for small 15 inch screens. You should consider changing your site to fit 17 or 21 inch screen size resolutions. You have a lot of great information, and a lot of useless white space.

There should be a catagory search to find any kind of acredited business in your area. for example: I need a new kitchen installed, I should be able to look under a catagory called KITCHENS AND BATHS and find a list of approved companies in my area. I see you have a request form only for getting a quote, most people dont want to fill out a form, they would rather find what they want right away.

BBB ratings are a great way to get a quick idea if a local business is legit. But it isn't always convenient to find the BBB rating, or even if there is one, for an online business. It would be great if you could see the BBB rating displayed right next to the company in Google search results, so that you could know even before visiting their site.

Your website is hard to navigate at times and I think it would be great to have ways that the BBB has helped other buisness as well as access to all ways the BBB can help your business. The testimonials are hard to find (Should be on front page as you open the website) and you should also have a page dedictaed to how the BBB helped the consumers with their problems...

As it is now when a company wants to edit its' own info on your website, a blank form pops up. We should be able to "Edit" the info without re-typing all of it. The form should pop up already filled in giving us the ability to change just 1 or 2 things. This would encourage businesses to update more frequently if we don't have to waste so much time.

It would be great if the BBB adopted some more rigorous practices in terms of direct mail... such as only one order form for decals, etc. It seems like we frequently receive mailings and reducing the paper would be a great practice! Additionally: is there a way to add a green rating to businesses???

I'm not sure if there is a need for this but my thought was to have a posting area for those that are looking for services. Businesses can respond to you if they feel they qualify for the required work or need. I believe this will help businesses that are looking for work, especially in this economy, it will be easier and the home owner or whoever doesn't have to do as much leg work. They can look up the business based on the responses.

It would be great to search by business owners name, especially if a bad business owner changes up their business name and address to dodge previous complaints. You might be able to do this already, but I haven't figured it out.

design a section of the BBB for Better Customer Bureau. This would help business owners avoid doing business with known offenders. Some people are now misusing the BBB as a clearing house for non payment. Small claims court has become welfare for the scammers. A protection bureau of sorts with a list would be very helpful.
